Our data centre provides reliable access to major European satellite platforms, allowing organisations to receive and integrate satellite broadcast and data services directly within our facility. By hosting satellite reception infrastructure inside the data centre environment, customers can connect satellite feeds directly to their systems without deploying or maintaining their own ground equipment.

We operate professionally aligned reception systems for several of Europe’s most widely used broadcast satellites, enabling dependable signal acquisition for media, data monitoring, and specialist industry applications.



Available Satellite Platforms

We currently provide reception for the following orbital positions:

  • Astra 28.2°E – widely used for UK broadcast services including Freesat and Sky platforms
  • Astra 19.2°E – one of Europe’s largest broadcast hubs with extensive TV and radio distribution
  • Astra 23.5°E – regional broadcast and data distribution services across Central Europe
  • Hotbird 13°E – major international satellite cluster serving Europe, North Africa and the Middle East
  • Eutelsat 9°E – regional broadcast and professional distribution services

Broadcast Monitoring

Media organisations and service providers use satellite reception to distribute channels over IP and monitor broadcast channels in real time, ensuring signal integrity, verifying distribution paths, and observing programme output across multiple regions.


Financial Markets & Derivatives Data

Certain financial market participants rely on satellite distribution networks to receive time-sensitive data feeds used in trading and derivatives markets. Locating reception infrastructure inside the data centre allows these feeds to be integrated directly with trading or analysis systems.


Content Licensing and Rights Monitoring

Specialist companies monitor broadcast and music channels to ensure that content and music usage complies with licensing agreements on behalf of artists, publishers, and rights holders. Satellite monitoring enables verification of when and where licensed material is being broadcast.

Our infrastructure allows customers to integrate satellite signals directly with their own systems hosted within the facility.
